Killer season Down Under

The endless winter, a thought most of us boarders dream for. There are a select few who aspire to that goal and to help them with that is the Southern Hemisphere. Our summer is there winter and vice versa. Have you ever been at a resort in North America and notice how many Australians and New Zealanders are working there? Well there are quite a few and they are nomadic for the snow. So while we are in summer they make their way back to their home resorts to continue their endless summer.
Enough about the nomads I want to talk about what they are enjoying while the rest of us are stuck in the summer months of the Northern Hemisphere. Snow!! and lots of it. The Southern Hemisphere is has gotten dumped on this season. Argentina's resorts have had an average of 107 inches of base depth, Chile's La Parva is claiming 228 inches, while Turoa in New Zealand has a base depth of 192 inches. I can only hope that this is a precurser to what is in store for us in the next couple of months im dying to get out and shred its been far too long since ive been on the snow.

Here are a few shots of New Zealand donated by Sean Busby of Powderlines.com from his recent expedition down under.

Whatever Ryan. I guess I'll allow Lisa to be yours since she is your sister and all. Maybe this means I'll be seeing more of your wonderful self in the future!
